    @matthoenn A Turkish speaker can understand Azeri almost totally.It is not a foreign language.Thank you : )

    @Ma010S It is a foreign language. As a Dutch speaker I can understand Afrikaans, but it is still a foreign language. Other than that…….. I’d say Arabic, or Ottoman then Arabic.

    @matthoenn Arabic is totally a foreing structured language.Ottoman is a type or Turkish;it is called old Turkish.

    Spanish is easier than French. It’s 75%+ Latin. It’s easier to pronounce. Grammar is easier than French. No ellision or vowel dropping and fewer diacratics. Spanish is also closer to Latin with similar spellings and pronounciations compared to French. There are more Spanish words in English than French words as well. Spanish is spoken more in the US, so lots of practice. Also you can learn some Arabic, Native American, Celtic & German words by studying Spanish.
