My new milk frother arrived in the post!
January 20, 2010 1 CommentFor those of you who follow me, you’ll know I love my COFFEE – strong Italian beans, with hot frothy milk … and you probably read about my coffee-making disaster recently :-)
Well I’m here to tell you that I finally (FINALLY) found the perfect milk frother! I visited a few stores and couldn’t believe the prices I was being told – $30-35?? You’ve got to be nuts!
So – what I found online was an ARCOSTEEL “Essential” Milk Frother, with a 25 yr guarantee on the metal parts … which is exactly what I needed!
Today I popped up to the Post Office to collect my mail and eureka! It had arrived! I dashed home and couldn’t WAIT to make a home-made latte … excitement was brimming out of the pores of my skin :-)
I can’t tell you how exciting it was when I made my first coffee in weeks, heated the milk, and used the frother for the first time … woohoo! The thick creaminess of the coffee after only about 10 plunges was truly amazing!

Ohhhhh it was worth the wait!!!
So now I’m a happy little possum … and I can’t wait to go to Paris and take my milk frother (and coffee pot) with me.

My personal fav is a mocha coffee. That delicious chocolate flavor mixed in with the rich coffee and finished with a nice coating of froth and chocolate powder – mm, mm, mm, mm, MM!
