Using Twitter to find Francophiles

Yesterday was a fun day – I had created a twitter.com account – http://twitter.com/anight_in_paris – for my website about Paris – http://A-Night-in-Paris.com – and searched for other Francophiles and people interested in travel.
How did I find people? On my twitter page is a search box – I searched for france, paris and francophile to see what others were writing about, and whether they were interesting.
I did find some, so I “Followed” a couple of interesting folk and it’s nice to feel part of a tiny community in a humungous world :-)
